Pregnancy is one of the most important and valuable things experienced by Mommy in her life. Therefore, it is important to maintain the condition and also avoid things which may impair the health and the fetal development later. 

Foods and Beverages 

There are some foods during pregnancy preparation which should be avoided. The first is foods containing preservatives and MSG. Preservatives and MSG can affect fertility and also for the fetus because both substances are not good because they can inhibit the growth of the brain. In addition, preservatives and MSG can lead to physical abnormalities and defects in the fetus.

In addition to foods containing preservatives and MSG, Mommy should also avoid alcoholic beverages and caffeinated beverages. Alcoholic beverages will damage the liver and may also interfere with the growth of the embryo or fertilized egg cells.

So, if Mommy consumes alcoholic beverages, the chances for fertilization and pregnancy will be very small, although Mommy is in the fertile period. Therefore, alcoholic beverages are restricted.

Caffeinated beverages, such as coffee, also need to be left out when preparing for pregnancy. Caffeine may increase the risk of miscarriage.

Another type of food which needs to be avoided is foods containing fat and high cholesterol. When being pregnant, Mommy needs to be in a state of ideal body weight, so that Mommy will go through all stages of pregnancy until delivery smoothly. Fatty foods and high calorie foods will gain Mommy’s weight, and at worst, will increase the blood pressure which makes the labor process risky. Only consume healthy foods. 

Bad Habits

There are some bad habits which will give an indication of pregnancy dangerous signs, if Mommy keeps doing them. The first habit is lack of exercise. When Mommy is pregnant, especially during the last trimester of pregnancy, Mommy will feel like carrying an extra load on Mommy’s body. Therefore, it’s good to have a physical training during the pregnancy preparation, so Mommy’s body will be ready and strong when being pregnant. 

Cosmetics are also another thing to be concerned. There are some chemicals in cosmetics which may affect the fertility. And the taboo that Mommy needs to avoid is stress. Mommy needs to make time to relieve the stress so that the sexual intercourse and pregnancy preparation will be successful. By avoiding all the above taboos, it is highly expected that Mommy is on the right track  to make the pregnancy plan comes true.
