During pregnancy, it is advisable to meet the nutritional needs as best as possible. The needs for food during pregnancy tend to be more than before. Nutrients consumed by pregnant mothers are beneficial for healthy fetal growth, maintaining Mommy’s condition, providing food reserves during breastfeeding, and healing the postpartum wounds faster. 

During pregnancy, Mommy should eat regularly three times a day with nutritious food composition comprising staple food, side dishes, vegetables, and fruits, and when buying groceries, choose foods which are still fresh.

The following example is the food ingredient guide needed by the body in a day to meet the nutrition during pregnancy : 

  • 300 grams or about 4 cups of breads, cereals and rice.
  • 75 grams or about 3 medium-sliced meat. 
  • 75 grams or about 3 small pieces of tempeh or tofu. 300 grams or about 3 bowls of vegetables.
  • 200 grams or about 2 pieces of fruits.
  • 200 grams or about 1 cup of milk.
  • 10 grams or about 1 tablespoon of sugar.

In addition, Mommy is advised to drink plenty of water, eat sources of iron in order to avoid the risk of anemia. Mommy may drink PRENAGEN Mommy 2 times a day to meet the needs of protein, DHA, choline, and folic acid.
