Lime or lemon greatly helps to reduce nausea during the first trimester of pregnancy. Another benefit of this small piece of green or yellow fruit is to eliminate toxins in the body.

Banana should be consumed every day in order to reduce the constipation which is frequently experienced by pregnant women. 

Other fruits which are very good for pregnant women are berries. Strawberry, blueberry, and other kinds of berries are the super fruit, especially for pregnant women. Berries contain antioxidants substances which can counteract free radicals that are dangerous to the health of Mommy and the fetus. Antioxidant substances called quercetin is also found in apples that have the same function with the antioxidants in the berries.
