Dates have a number of benefits, both for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. Dates contain some kind of nutrition of pregnant women. These nutrients then will bring enormous benefits for pregnant women who frequently eat the dates during pregnancy.

Firstly, dates can shrink the uterus. Dates have a sort of hormone called potuchsin which has a property to shrink the blood vessels in the uterus. This substance then makes the uterus shrink after childbirth.

The last benefit of dates is for the smooth bowel movements. It is very common for many pregnant women to suffer from constipation.
